SooZ has been honoured by being elected into the Society of Canadian Artists (SCA), the International Guild of Realism (IGOR) and the Autour de Nous (ADN) group of professional artists and has served on the board of Directors and as a juror for the SCA.

Her works can be found in private collections across Canada, in the United States, Holland, France, England, Russia, Poland, and China and her work now hangs in a permanent collection in the Chateau Réaux in France.

‘‘My present series, Improbable Creatures, is meticulously designed and painted with a mechanical steampunk aesthetic in mind. To achieve a unique industrial appearance, I combine drawings of nuts, bolts, rivets, and gears into an inventively-designed image which introduces fantasy and whimsical components. I then use acrylic paint to create textures, with stamping, dry brushing, splattering or any other technique which will give me the desired effect I am looking for.
