Sarah Kidner, born 1964, blends her early exposure to the Group of Seven and French Impressionists with a background in history and philosophy from the University of Toronto. Now based in Alberta, her work draws direct inspiration from the Rocky Mountains. A dedicated plein air painter, Kidner’s evolving technique reflects guidance from notable artists. She holds signature membership in the Federation of Canadian Artists and is a member of Oil Painters of America.
