Bruno Côté

Bruno Côté

Bruno Côté (1940–2010, Quebec City) was a Canadian painter celebrated for his vibrant depictions of the nation’s landscapes. Trained in his family’s advertising firm before turning fully to painting in the 1960s, he later settled in Charlevoix, where the region’s rugged beauty became central to his art. From the 1980s onward, he travelled extensively across Quebec and Canada, creating bold, colourful works that capture the vitality and spirit of place.
