“After The Storm” is a 16 x 18 in. acrylic on panel, presented in a black floater frame. A landscape painting by Ken Vincent, from the gallery's Historical Collection.
Ken Vincent was born in the United States in 1949, earned a degree in cultural anthropology from North Carolina State University, and studied flute under Harold Bennett of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra in New York. His realist landscapes take their cue from the big skies of the Canadian prairies and the Great Lakes, setting smooth, ever-changing skies against the subtle textures of grassland and open water. His paintings have been shown across Europe and North America and are held in public collections in France, Germany, the Netherlands, Japan, Korea, the United States and Canada.
