Robert Genn (1936–2014) is among Canada’s most accomplished painters, celebrated for his evocative depictions of the West Coast and beyond. Working primarily in acrylic, he combined strong design, harmonic pattern, and refined colour to distill nature’s grand themes into works of striking clarity. While influenced by the Group of Seven, Genn extended their legacy with a distinct personal style. His paintings are held in major private and corporate collections internationally.
