David Grieve, a Michael Scotchmer scholarship recipient from the University of Guelph, specializes in oil landscapes featuring solitary trees. His technique of focused cropping and rich autumnal tones emphasizes themes of time, change, and nature’s cycles. Working from his Brantford studio, Grieve’s compositions invite contemplation of life’s transience through mature, organic imagery. His work is represented by Koyman Galleries in Ottawa.
