Bill Saunders is a Montreal-born painter who began sketching at four and painting at twelve, working for years as a draftsman before leaving a career at BP Canada in 1977 to paint full time. Working first in oil and later acrylic, he brings a draftsman's meticulous, ultra-realistic detail to the farmland and rural scenery of Quebec and Ontario.
