Where The Light Settles

“Where The Light Settles” is a 60 x 60 in. oil on canvas, presented as an unframed canvas, with a gallery-wrapped edge. An abstract painting from Svitlana Pryhodko.

Svitlana Pryhodko is a Ukrainian-born artist based in Mississauga, Canada, painting full-time since 2002. Trained in classical techniques in Kyiv and Toronto, she creates vibrant, impasto oil landscapes that merge abstract expression with structured color harmony. Inspired by nature’s emotional resonance—particularly Ontario’s autumn—her work invites viewers into vivid, dreamlike scenes that balance tradition with contemporary interpretation.
