Laura Stevens, trained at Sheridan Institute and Bishop’s University, blends fine arts and psychology in her vibrant depictions of iconic Canadian wildlife. Influenced by her studies and an internship under Wendy Wacko, she abstracts animal forms to capture their dynamic energy through bold color contrasts and fluid line work. Based in Eastern Ontario, Stevens’ work reflects a rigorous exploration of form and spirit, featured in private and public Canadian collections.
