Ryan Sobkovich is a Canadian landscape painter known for dynamic impasto brushwork and emotionally resonant plein air compositions. Rooted in the wilderness of Ontario, his large-scale oil paintings capture the natural terrain with layered complementary colour and gestural precision. A graduate of Georgian College’s Advanced Fine Art program, Sobkovich brings both formal training and deep field experience to a practice defined by physicality, atmosphere, and intent.
