Harold Braul (b. 1960, Ontario) is known for his luminous urban scenes that transform everyday moments into narratives of motion and light. Trained in industrial design at Fanshawe College, his work blends technical precision with painterly spontaneity. Through loose strokes, vibrating lines, and glowing colour, Braul captures the flux of city life—commuters, cyclists, and fleeting gestures—imbued with a childlike wonder. His paintings are represented at Koyman Galleries.
