Born in Ottawa in 1951, Philip Craig graduated from Sheridan College of Art and Design. After working as a television graphic designer, he devoted himself to painting, focusing on landscapes, portraits, and still life. His decade in Newfoundland deepened his exploration of traditional subjects. Travels across Europe and Asia enriched his appreciation of light, a defining element in his work. Craig is represented by Koyman Galleries in Ottawa.
