Forest Walk

Scott Rubie, originally from Alberta and based near Renfrew, is a self-taught acrylic painter focused on landscapes with water elements. With a background in science and education, he began serious art practice after retiring in 2011. Influenced by light and color, Rubie’s evolving work explores technique and emotional resonance, seeking to capture intimate moments true to the scene. He continues to develop through workshops with prominent Canadian artists.
