Catharine Clarke’s mixed media work explores the interplay between rigid structures and organic forms, using acrylics and collage to achieve rich textures and depth. Transitioning from watercolour to more versatile media, she refines a distinctive voice that captures overlooked details, such as the patterns of rust, inviting viewers to reconsider everyday surfaces. Her practice reflects a thoughtful balance between structure and nature, underscored by ongoing study and technical evolution.
