Laura Stevens grew up in rural Eastern Ontario and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Bishop's University alongside a visual arts diploma from Sheridan. Since 2016 she has painted and taught from Victoria Street Studios in Finch, Ontario. Her acrylic studies of North American wildlife work through abstracted line and strong colour, built up in quick, confident strokes.
