James Keirstead
James Keirstead, one of Canada’s foremost landscape and heritage painters, is known for his bold impressionistic style using knives and oils. Since the 1960s, his textured canvases have captured historic mills, rustic homesteads, and landscapes across Canada, from Ontario farms to the coasts of Newfoundland and British Columbia, as well as scenes from Europe.
