Since then, he has traveled to many different places with his wife Birgit. These places have inspired him to paint lots of pictures expressing his own artistic vision.

Robert Bateman has held many art exhibitions. These include a solo show at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History as well as a Retrospective Tour. His special projects include a bowl for the World Wildlife Fund Endangered and stamps for Canada Post’s Endangered Species Series.

Robert’s work is famous and kept in the private collections of King Charles and Prince Philip. Additionally his artwork is featured in the National Museum of Wildlife Art Gallery.
