Louise Marion is an artist from Joliette in Quebec. She has always been attracted to the arts in all its forms, but for more than 30 years, it is through painting that she makes us discover her vision of a colourful and vibrant life.
Painting is to this artist an all-encompassing passion where time does not exist. She travels through towns and villages in search of landscapes and urban scenes so as to capturing the essence of the location in her compositions through colour and light. She particularly likes the great outdoors which also inspires her to express herself with an explosion of bright colors.
Her style, colorist expressionnism, is inspired by many artistic movement; fauvism, cloisonnism and pop art. Her brush strokes cover the canvas with a vibrant motion, sculpting light and movement.
She has participated in numerous solo and collective exhibitions and many art shows. She has been named Honorary President of several Art Shows in Quebec. In 2010, she exhibited at the Louvre Museum in Paris with the Canadian delegation. Her works are exhibited in art galleries in Canada, United States and Europe.
