Jocelyn Blouin was born in Ottawa in 1959. While he was very young, his family returned to live in Quebec City, where he still resides. A self-taught painter, he exhibited his paintings for the first time at Laval University in Quebec in 1981. His second exhibition waited for nearly twenty years, when he caught the attention of an art critic of Le Soleil., which increased his confidence about the value of his work.
Since then, his works can be found in art several galleries. In 2007, he won a prize at the ‘Concours d’œuvres d’arts de la ville de Québec 2006-2007’ as a professional artist.
